While March Madness is finally coming to an end, it’s also time for some big spring premieres. Archer’s latest season, Dreamland is here, and it’s on FXX these days so check your cable lineup. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story makes its Blu-ray debut this week while the second season of Chewing Gum arrives on Netflix here in the US. Louis CK doubles up this week by appearing on Saturday Night Live and bringing a brand new comedy special to Netflix, while the biggest game releases are Persona 5 and PaRappa the Rapper Remastered. Oh, and Prison Break is back. Look after the break to check out each day’s highlights, including trailers and let us know what you think (or what we missed).

As a recap, the game we’re talking about here is the Rocksteady Studios version that gives you a first-person view of what it’s like to be Gotham’s caped crusader, not the Telltale edition. You’ll scour your surroundings for clues to solve crimes and fight villains using each system’s hand-held controller. In addition to giving players the joy of being in Batman’s shoes, the game is also an exciting peek at what future VR games could be like.

We don’t know how much the game will cost yet, but it will likely be in the same range as the $20 PSVR version.

Electronic music, ’80s pop and hip-hop in particular owe a lot to Kakehashi’s firm. The TR-808’s unique ‘sizzling’ drum and hand clap sounds were crucial to genre-defining songs from the likes of Afrika Bambaataa and Nine Inch Nails, and it’s so iconic that artists have sometimes based their albums or even careers around it. Think 808 State, or Kanye West’s 808s and Heartbreak. And that was really just the start of Kakehashi’s biggest accomplishments.

He also got the ball rolling on MIDI, the standard that helped kickstart digital music composition. The TR-909 (the first drum machine to use MIDI) and TB-303 bass synth were crucial to modern dance music’s early days, launching genres like acid house. And many PC gamers will have a soft spot for the SC-55 Sound Canvas, the first General MIDI sound card. It was a big step toward computer-based tunes that sounded as good as what you heard from recording studios, and represented PC music’s gold standard for years.

Kakehashi gradually bowed out of his company, retiring in 2013, but not before receiving honors ranging from a Technical Grammy through to a spot on Hollywood’s Rock Walk of Fame. In some ways, those accolades almost sell him short. While Kakehashi wasn’t as singularly responsible for redefining music as someone like synthesizer pioneer Bob Moog, it’s safe to say that the industry would have gone in a very, very different direction if he hadn’t been around. He’ll be missed.

There’s still a lot up in the air. The team doesn’t even have writers, let alone a cast. Compulsion believes the producers have good ideas for maintaining the “menace, dark humor and central themes” of the survival horror title, however, and dj2 says it’ll stay “true to the source material” while including a few surprises.

There’s good reason to be skeptical, since game-based movies only rarely get top-flight screenwriting and acting talent. However, We Happy Few at least has a concept that’s well-suited to the big screen. Its alternate history plot, where people are forced to take a mind-altering drug to hide a sinister truth, shares something common with popular movies that revolve around the “town with a dark secret” premise — think The Wicker Man or even Hot Fuzz. That’s a good platform to build on, then. The big challenge is evoking the spirit of those classics without either being overly derivative or diluting what makes the game special.

By their very nature, most augmented reality games are at least a little bit futuristic. The creators of Archer, however, are embracing the past… in more ways than one. FXX’s Archer, P.I. mobile game will have you pointing your Android or iOS device at your TV, Facebook and even billboards to scan for clues to a hidden story inside Archer: Dreamland, the film noir-inspired eighth season for the animated series. If you want to claim your rewards and unlock every mystery, though, you’ll also have to print and assemble physical objects based on what you see in the show. That’s right — if you’ve welcomed the paperless future with open arms, you won’t get everything the story has to offer.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion trailer has raised many eyebrows. We still don’t know the mystery behind Baahubali’s death in the part one of Baahubali. Well, the infamous question that the first part of movie left us with – Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? is finally answered.

Kattappa himself took the opportunity at the Baahubali event to address the audience and answer the question. The way he answered is applaud- worthy. Rightly said, wit and intelligence are either side of the same coin.

Kattappa said,

“It is very simple. Producers, Shobu sir, and Prasad sir paid me very well. And Rajamouli told me ‘Kill Baahubali’, so I killed him. Otherwise, how can I kill Prabhas? He has been my darling since Mirchi (their 2003 film together).”

As we all know that people are curious to know the story of Baahubali in the conclusion part, there’s also this wave of speculation that it was not Kattappa who killed Baahubali. The theory of this has become the favorite past time puzzle.

The movie has some larger than life cinematography, the star cast looks promising and the stunts are even better than the previous part. The director SS Rajamouli is a creative genius, whose work we can only appreciate and fall in love with.

Even after a lot of recent drama and its consequences, we still get to see a fresh content on Kapil Sharma’s show on Sony television.

Recently he had roped in a look-alike of Sanjay Dutt aka Sanju baba in The Kapil Sharma Show.The role was played by comedian artist Dr.Sanket Bhosale.

Ever since the fallout in-between the friends of this successful comedy show, namely Kapil Sharma and Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar as well as Sunil Grover, the matter has not resolved and has only got more entangled.

But the show must go on, so in a way to introduce some fresh content and concept, we have the Sony channel introducing more stand-up comedians into the show on a temporary basis for each weekend.

It was definitely quite a surprise to see veteran comedians Raju Srivastav, Sunil Pal and Ahsan Qureshi as a part of The Kapil Sharma Show, last week.

Though this is quite temporary in nature but it definitely adds something new to the show. However, the audience were still seen missing their favorite character, Dr. Mashoor Gulati, and Rinku Bhabhi.

We are just hoping the surprise is worth looking forward to. The show is going through a tough time, all we want is some humor and the electrifying performances of the entire team.

This news is weird. After reading the news, one can only say that there’s no humanity in this chaotic world.

It so happened, the British reality show’s contestants spent a year in Scotland’s wild areas. The contestants who took part in the show were away from all the basic livelihood and technology. The show is called ‘Eden’.

There were 23 contestants who had to build a community on their own, self-sufficient. They won’t have any form of contact from outside world. It was a social experiment scheduled for 12 months (1 year). The total 12 episodes would show the contestant’s struggles every month.

The makers claimed that it was just an experiment and they did not have any expectations on the ratings or popularity of the show. Once the show went on air, the ratings dropped after 4 episodes and the show was scrapped. Then, what they did next will take you by surprise or rather shock.

They ‘forgot’ to inform the remaining contestants about the show being called off. The first episode was aired in July 2016.

When the contestant came back to Britain, they were in shock. They had no idea that Britain was no longer a part of EU. They have no clue that Donald Trump is the new elected President of America. They did not know that the show they were a part of was scrapped and never on air after 4 episodes.

The channel has now said that they will air the entire experiment later this year to show the journey of these contestants and their struggle. We can feel what these contestants are going through at this moment. Ridiculous is the only word that sums up the entire confusion.

Tinder is today introducing a new way for users to access the platform with the launch of Tinder Online, a web-optimized version of the dating app so people can Tinder at their desktops.

Tinder Online still requires that you sign on to your account through Facebook, and it doesn’t include any of Tinder’s revenue features like Tinder Boost or Super Like, for now.

Head of Product at Tinder, Brian Norgard, says that Tinder Online is meant to serve users in emerging markets who don’t have enough storage on their phone (the app is 128MB on iOS) or a big enough data plan for Tinder’s image-heavy feed. It’s also meant to offer Tinder power users the option to do their swiping and messaging on desktop, which is far easier on power users than a mobile app.

And, according to the blog post, Tinder Online is meant to serve users who are tied up at their computer, either in class or at work, and want to switch between Tinder tabs and actual productivity.

Introducing Tinder Online: a fun, new web experience and your English professor’s worst nightmare. Mobile phones not allowed in class? Just fire up your laptop and swipe incognito. Cubicle life got you down? Now you can toggle between spreadsheets and Super Likes in a flash. “Not Enough Storage?” Not a problem. Don’t let life get in the way of your Tinder game.

While the branding message of Tindering during class or work is questionable, the product itself makes a lot of sense.

Tinder has always been a native mobile app, first on iOS and then on Android. But the company now serves 196 countries across the world, and is learning to be flexible when it comes to giving people options about how they use Tinder.

As far as privacy is concerned, Tinder says that the only information it collects about users who log on to Tinder Online is location via the browser. Remember, Tinder uses Facebook as a log-in mechanism, so there is no shortage of personal information to which the company has access for the purposes of matching, marketing, or advertising. Browser history simply isn’t necessary.

“Our DNA is mobile so there was a learning curve involved in building something for a bigger screen,” said Norgard. “It was a challenge because when you start your birth as a mobile company, building for the web feels like you’re going backwards. There is a different skill set from a design perspective and a user behavior perspective. What makes Tinder great on your phone might not make it great on the desktop, and vice versa.”

From a philosophical standpoint, Tinder can feel to some users like more of a game than a social dating app. The company has made minor tweaks to counter this. The Tinder app used to say “Keep Playing!” after a match in big letters, prioritized over “Send Message.” Now, “Send Message” is prioritized over “Keep Swiping!”

On a broader scale, Tinder is built to be used as a time-sink just as much, if not moreso, than as a dating app that helps you connect with potential mates.

Making it accessible via web, and encouraging users to ignore class or work and Tinder instead, doesn’t necessarily make the app any more focused on the goal of connecting people, but rather getting as many swipes and matches as possible.

From a business perspective, Tinder fuels itself on user growth, with the hopes that those users convert into paid users, either subscribing to Tinder Plus or purchasing add-ons like Tinder Boost. Allowing users to access the platform from anywhere with an internet connection, without having to install any software, lowers the barrier to entry.

The launch of Tinder Online comes on the heels of news that Tinder was running a secret, members-only version of the app called Tinder Select, which lets invite-only users toggle between ‘celeb’ Tinder and regular-person Tinder. You can read more about Tinder Select here.

Tinder is currently testing Tinder Online in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, and Sweden, with plans to launch everywhere ‘soon’.

Phillauri is winning hearts and how. The movie which already surpassed our expectations remains strong on its first Monday.

Phillauri is about the superstitious beliefs of the Indian society. It’s a satirical take on the blind faith of the Indian society on things that has no logic behind it.

Well, the movie that is made in 21 Crores has already recovered 12 Crores from its satellite rights. The remaining 9 crores is already recovered with its phenomenal performance at the box office.

As we already reported, the first-weekend collection of the movie is 15.25 Crore. On the first day itself, it has collected 4.02 Crore, on the first Saturday it made 5.22 Crore and on Sunday, it minted 6.03 Crore.

The first Monday collections of the movie are out and its quite good. It has collected 2.02 Crore, which is surely promising considering that Monday is a working day.

Soundcloud — the popular, but unprofitable platform that lets creators post and share music and other audio files — may have been unsuccessful (so far) in closing a new $100 million round of funding, but it’s not running out of money soon. The company has secured a $70 million round of debt funding from three new investors — Ares Capital, Kreos Capital, and Davidson Technology — which it will use to build out more technology, to hire more people, and to build “a financially sustainable platform.”

Soundcloud confirmed the debt round to us in a statement, after the funding was first uncovered by BI after it noticed a company filing earlier this week at Companies House, the UK company registrar.

“We are pleased to have secured a flexible $70 million credit line from Ares Capital, Kreos Capital and Davidson Technology that is ideally structured for a company with our strong credit rating and in our stage of growth,” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement. “This new funding will enable SoundCloud to strategically grow our technology and personnel resources to fuel our expected 2.5 times year-over-year growth in 2017, while building a financially sustainable platform on which our connected community of creators, listeners and curators can thrive for years to come.”

We’ve asked for comment on what is happening with that $100 million round as well as the valuation of the company. (Previous investors include Atlantic Labs, Doughty Hanson, Eniac Ventures, GGV, Index, IVP, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Tennenbaum Capital Partners — which funded a previous debt round of $35 million — and Twitter — which invested $70 million in June 2016.

The $70 million credit line secured earlier this month and confirmed today brings the total raised by the company to $320 million. An equity round of $60 million in 2014 put the company’s valuation at $700 million, where it has remained even as it has raised more money.

Soundcloud is sometimes dubbed the “YouTube for audio” because of its emphasis on user-generated content and focus on providing a platform for creators to distribute their work as much as it is a place for consumers to discover it.

Today, it hosts around 150 million music tracks plus other audio on its platform, which has 175 million listeners, counting both its free and paid users. (It has never broken out just how many of its users have opted for its premium tiers, which were introduced last year and are regularly tweaked with new prices and options.)

Soundcloud has also been on a rollercoaster business-wise. At least two potential acquisitions — by Twitter and Spotify — have fallen apart because of Soundcloud’s asking price and other priorities at the acquiring companies.

And there is the issue of its finances. Soundcloud was founded by Swedish entrepreneurs Alexander Ljung and Eric Wahlforss out of Berlin and has offices in New York, but its business is registered in the UK. So regular, annual filings at the UK’s Companies House have consistently spelled out the company’s red financial picture.

In the last report that came out in February, covering the company’s financials in fiscal year 2015, Soundcloud reported losses of €51.22 million ($55 million in today’s currency), up 30 percent on the year before on revenues of €21.1 million.

Doing the math, using Soundcloud’s projected revenue growth, that revenue figure should rise to €52.75 million ($56.88 million) this year. It’s going in the right direction, but the question is how long it will take before Soundcloud can justify the value that has been placed on it, and the investment that has been made in it.

As with previous filings, the annual report from February also noted that the company theoretically had financial runway (in this latest case, until December 2017), but that “risks and uncertainties may cause the company to run out of cash earlier than that date, and would require the Group to raise additional funds which are not currently planned.”

Hence the debt round announced today. The filing for the debt round (link to document here) does not detail the payment terms of the debt. These can often be made at far stricter terms than equity investments from VCs, which would have been one reason why Soundcloud might have tried to raise an equity round instead.

As you must have read in some websites that Sunil Grover And Kiku Sharda have joined hands for a new ‘SHOW’ after quitting The Kapil Sharma Show. This is what the media and leading websites are reporting.

Three months ago we agreed to do a show in Delhi with these two characters. So there is nothing as such, there is no connection with my one off with Sunil and the controversy. It’s sad to know people are thinking this way. To make it clear, the one with Sunil is a one off thing and I am doing only one show, The Kapil Sharma Show.”

Finally, we know that Kiku Sharda is still doing The Kapil Sharma Show and the stage show is just a few hours affair.

Kapil Sharma’s show is facing big issues. The controversies are never ending. As we all know, Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, and Chandan Prabhakar did not turn up on the day of shooting an episode.

In an emergency, Kapil’s team convinced Sunil Pal, Raju Srivastav, and Ahsaan Qureshi to come on board and substitute their absence. They were gracious enough to do so. We already know that Raju Srivastav has taken the responsibility to sort out the differences between the two friends.

He even revealed that he would call them at his home and along with Kapil Sharma’s mother the ace comedian will try to fix things. However, the planned meeting did not happen since Sunil Grover is out of town. He has assured Raju that once he comes back he will meet him for sure. So the meeting might happen anytime soon.

“Kapil has told me that he is trying to meet Sunil, but he is out of Mumbai. He told me that Sunil is determined not to come back on the show. To make things better, I had arranged a meeting with them at my house on Sunday, and I had even thought of calling Kapil’s mom (to mediate). But Sunil told me that he had extended his travel plans and will get in touch with me when he is back,”

The latest buzz is that the trio – Sunil Grove, Ali Asgar, and Chandan Prabhakar have not called it quits. They are very much part of the show, it’s just that they are not reporting on sets for reasons unknown.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Raju Srivastav said that

“Kapil success ke pressure ko jhel nai pa raha. I don’t think he is arrogant, I just feel he can’t deal with the pressure that comes along. No matter which show it is, be it a function or a shaadi, people always want Kapil to come and perform. This is why he has even stopped answering his phone calls,”

Raju was asked about Kapil’s drinking habits and rumors attached to his arrogant behavior. Here’s what he said,

“Although he has never misbehaved with me, other artists and technicians on the show have told me how he gets angry after drinking. They all say that otherwise he (Kapil) is fine, but changes completely as a person post consuming alcohol. It is so sad. People love us and if we behave like this (after drinking), it hurts our fans,”

Raju also spoke about Kapil Sharma’s girlfriend Ginni Chatrath who was introduced on social media on the day of fight itself, he said

““Ginni was on the set last week as well. Not in any capacity, just to support Kapil. He even introduced me to her and said, ‘Yeh aapki bhabhi hai’ (she is your sister-in-law),”

We hope that Sunil and Kapil’s fight is resolved soon, we want to see both of them perform together in The Kapil Sharma Show.

As we already told you in our earlier box office report, Phillauri made 4.02 Crore on Day 1 at the box office. The day 2 collections are even better.

As per trade experts, the figures that are above 3 Crores in the weekend is not just good but amazing. Well, looks like Phillauri has hit the bull’s eye.

The medium budget film, which is made in 21 Crore has already recovered 12 Crore via satellite rights. The remaining 9 Crores to surpass the breakeven is not difficult, looking at Day 2 collections.

So the movie collected around 5.20 Crores on Day 2. The total two days collection is 9.22 Crores.

Kapil Sharma’s fight with Sunil Grover is getting only worse with time. The fight that was supposed to die down in some days has instead become more aggressive.

The worst aftermath of the entire fight is the Producer and Kapil Sharma’s rumored ex-girlfriend Preeti Simoes deleting her Twitter account.

Well, the twitter users and fans of the show blamed Preeti for leaking the story of the fight to the media. The fans blamed her for being jealous of Ginni Chatrath, Kapil Sharma’s current girlfriend.

If you guys remember, on the day of the fight Kapil Sharma revealed on Twitter about his girlfriend Ginni. That day itself, the fight happened and things became worse. Preeti and Kapil were rumored to be dating but nothing was official. In such a scenario, when Kapil declared his love on social media for Ginni, people thought Preeti took a perfect revenge.

Well, the food for thought is that Preeti is the producer of the show, leaking details would mean harming her own business. We don’t think she did anything like that.

Sensationalization, misleading and negative, that’s the best way we can describe reporting nowadays. The Kapil Sharma- Sunil Grover fight is controversial, so the media jumps in, make it even worse and add their own misleading facts to grab eyeballs.

The recent buzz is that Sunil Grover And Kiku Sharda have joined hands for a new ‘SHOW’ after quitting The Kapil Sharma Show. This is what the media and leading websites are reporting. Well, these headlines and the fake stories of comedians quitting the show is enough of what we had already.

In the above screenshot, we can clearly see how the leading websites have reported the news with a misleading headline, almost all websites have followed the same.

We believe our viewers should know the actual truth the way it is. Manipulations everywhere and every time is certainly not acceptable, sometimes even our own website indulge in some clickbait headlines but our intentions are never to cross a certain limit and mislead our readers.

So the truth is that Sunil Grover is all set to perform on stage on April 1st, 2017. This stage show is a one-day affair (stage show lasts for few hours) and joining him on the stage would be Kiku Sharda.

For those who are thinking it’s a new show, then it’s not the case. The stage show is called ‘Dr. Mashoor Gulati Comedy Clinic’. The character ‘Dr.Mashoor Gulati’ is a creative property that belongs to K9 Productions and Sony Channel.

Sunil Grover and Kiku Sharda cannot disassociate themselves and perform a stage show just like that. Everything was already scheduled even before the fight. The recent show happened on 18th March in Mohali, which itself proves that the fight has nothing to do with stage performance.

Just because of the untimely fight mid-air, all the media are pouncing on the golden opportunity to encash the most out of it. We don’t want to belong to such kind of misleading journalism.
